In addition, you can order Chinese language classes in the form of self instruction programs. These programs are designed for use in the comfort of your own home, but do not require you to go online. You may use a textbook, workbook, audio CD, DVD or even a computer program to learn Mandarin. This option will allow you to learn the basics of the language without having to find formal Chinese language classes.

If all else fails, then you can always travel to China for Chinese language classes. There are several schools found throughout the country which specialize in teaching Mandarin as a second language. Many of these schools cater to foreigners coming to study.
